Geng Jiasheng led the team to learn from scratch, look up information and seek advice from others. After more than three months of use, the environmental protection toilet has finally changed from concept to object.
By April this year, the environmentally-friendly toilet developed by Geng Jiasheng's team has entered the stage of large-scale production. "The fourth generation products can meet the needs of more than 400 people every day." Yan Jiasheng said proudly.

This is not the first time Geng Jiasheng has played "cross-border". After graduating from KLOC-0/982 technical school, Geng Jiasheng originally worked as a painter in Kunming Milling Machine Factory. Two years later, he was transferred to Kunming Heavy Machinery Factory and became a lathe worker. From the most basic learning of crank handle, I asked the master in the factory and asked my father, who is also a lathe worker, at home. Geng Jiasheng, who had no foundation, soon became the backbone of the factory.

After switching to lathe work, Geng Jiasheng had an indissoluble bond with sharpening the knife. "Turner don't sharpen. It must be polished by hand on a grinder with 3000 revolutions per minute. " Geng Jiasheng said that his job is simply sharpening the knife, which is hard to say. For more than 30 years, I can't count how many turning tools I have sharpened.
"At least three or five a month, many times 10 to 20." After grinding so many knives, Geng Jiasheng's hands were gradually covered with thick calluses.
It is on the basis of constant sharpening that Geng Jiasheng has a deeper understanding of the angle and material of turning tools, which provides conditions for him to constantly transform turning tools and improve his technology. He has "reform" once or twice every year, and his most satisfactory "quick return method of thread processing" is also summed up through continuous production practice. This invention can improve the production efficiency by 30% in 2006, and has applied for a national patent.
"Technology is the accumulation of experience, and we must improve ourselves in the process of continuous learning." Geng Jiasheng said that after he got the drawings, he would habitually look for unreasonable places and constantly improve. In addition, he also used his rest time to learn machining skills such as boring machine and drilling machine, and taught himself CAD drawing to become a comprehensive machining expert.

From a painter who graduated from a technical school to a knife worker in the processing industry, from an apprentice to a "famous craftsman", Geng Jiasheng explained the craftsman spirit with more than 30 years of persistence and persistence.
