What is Orthokeratology Mirror (MCT)?

Orthokeratology mirror (MCT) is a non-surgical myopia correction method that can improve myopia without wearing glasses. The principle is to develop a contact lens with high oxygen permeability and shaping function by using new materials in aerospace technology, which can gently and painlessly reshape the elastic cornea and flatten the central part of the cornea, thus changing the refractive state of myopia, improving hyperopia and restoring it to a clear state. Orthokeratology technology, users can achieve naked eye vision above 1.0 as long as they wear it for 7-8 hours at night, and do not need to wear glasses during the day. Orthokeratology is a specially designed hard lens. The reverse geometric design of the lens makes the central curvature of the cornea smaller and the radius of curvature larger through mechanical compression or massage, thus reducing the refractive power of the cornea. From a scientific point of view, orthokeratology is one of the feasible and effective methods to correct myopia.
