The application of BYD iTAC technology in the new E-platform 3.0 model.

Car change news? In order to improve the driving performance of electric vehicles while laying a solid foundation for safety and let consumers experience more driving pleasure, on May 13, the exclusive intelligent torque control system ITAC (Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control) developed by BYD was officially released. It is reported that iTAC technology will be carried on the new model of E platform 3.0.

In response speed, the iTAC recognition accuracy is improved by more than 300 times, and the wheel speed change trend can be predicted more than 50ms in advance. When the wheel grip is abnormal but not slipping, the system has recognized the abnormal grip and adjusted it in advance to restore the stability of the vehicle.

In the control strategy, the traditional control strategy can only control the vehicle by braking to reduce the torque when facing skidding. On the basis of pre-judgment, iTAC provides a variety of ways to transfer torque, appropriately reduce torque and output negative torque according to the characteristics of fast motor response and more accurate speed regulation.

In order to verify the safety and handling of iTAC on low adhesion pavement, BYD conducted all-round performance tests in extremely cold environment. The test results show that iTAC can effectively improve the ultimate performance of vehicles when driving on low adhesion roads, so that ordinary consumers who are not professional racers can also enjoy driving and controlling vehicles.
