about the RP15
performance mode: when you turn on the power of the RP15, you will enter the performance mode. In performance mode, you can get all pre-stored timbres by adjusting the upper and lower pedals. Turn the first round knob from the left to select a timbre from the tone library, turn the second knob to select an effect from the effect library, the third knob to adjust the effect value, and the fourth knob to adjust the volume.
bypass mode: the bypass state makes the timbre in the guitar timbre without RP15 processing. To enter the BYpass state, you need to step on two foot switches at the same time, and the word "by" is displayed on the display screen, indicating that the preset is bypassed. Stepping on any foot switch can exit the bypass state.
pitch calibration mode: RP15 has pitch adjustment function. Press the two pedals at the same time and do not let go. When TU is displayed on the display screen, it will enter the adjustment mode. When playing a note, the display screen will show the pitch of the note, and a row of indicators on the left will show the gap between the pitch and the standard tone. When one of the five red lights above lights up, the tone should be lower, and when the five red lights below light up, the tone should be higher; The tone is adjusted when the green light is on. Press either left or right pedal to exit the adjustment mode. When entering the calibration function, you can change the "reference tone" of the tone. The default value of the manufacturer's "reference tone" is A=44Hz (4 is displayed). Press the Value key to choose among several falling tones in turn. They are A=Ab (display Ab), A=G (display G) and A=Gb (display Gb). The display briefly flashes the reference tone you selected. The "reference" reference tone can only be kept until it is turned off, and then the "reference tone" will be restored to the default value.
TONE LIBRARY KNOB: in the performance mode, you can select a genre-based electric guitar tone by turning this knob. From blues to countryside to metal. In the background, other effects such as distortion, equalization, speaker simulation and various peripherals will be simply configured. You can further edit this timbre to make your ideal sound. Turning this knob will not change the effects of chorus, delay and reverberation. You can try to edit it yourself. Use this knob to quickly change the style of your current timbre.
EFFECTS LIBRARY KNOB: turning this knob in the performance mode can change the combination between chorus reverberation and delay in the back stage of the analog speaker. You can further decorate it. Turning this knob will not change the distortion of the current timbre, the parameters of speaker simulation and equalization. This can make you get the desired timbre quickly.
Effects Level Knob: in the performance mode, this knob can change the horizontal value of peripheral effects, and it can be regarded as having the function of mixed adjustment. Clockwise rotation can increase the effect value and counterclockwise rotation can decrease the effect value.
Master Level Knob: this knob is used to control the output volume of RP15 as a whole.
management software (X-EditTM Editor/Librarian): after you download and install the drivers and management software on the official website of DIGITECH, you can connect your RP15 with a computer through USB interface, and operate your effector through the computer.
preset: a "preset" can be understood as a "timbre", which is a sound composed of various "effect items" and their parameters arranged together according to a "user-specific" program, and has its own preset number. Presets can be called up by foot switch. Each module used by the current preset effect can be indicated by the LED light on the left. RP15 has 5 user presets and 5 factory presets. The 5 locations preset by users can store the preset you edited. When leaving the factory, 5 user presets are the same as 5 factory presets, so you can create your own timbre without worrying about losing the original data.
You can get the timbre you want more conveniently and quickly through the tone library knob and the effect library knob.
