Storage: Store in a cool and dry place. Please seal this product after use.

2. Pure polyester matting agent RB3329

1, appearance: pale yellow amorphous powder.

2. Melting range: 105~ 1 15℃

Principle of action: RB3329 is a matting agent for pure polyester, pure epoxy or polyester/epoxy powder coatings, which can be matting to 20-60℃ (the matting degree can be adjusted according to the amount added). It uses the combined action of micronized wax and zinc compound to achieve the purpose of extinction, and has the characteristics of good extinction effect, good leveling and excellent tolerance.

Packing: kraft paper bags lined with polyethylene, each with a net weight of 20kg.

3. Organic matting agent

Organic matting agent

M2, M3, M4, M5 and M6 are high specific surface areas; Porous fluffy powder with low bulk density is composed of basic particles with an average particle size of 0. 1-0. 15um, and aggregated into particles of about 5-9um. This leads to high pore volume and extremely uneven particle distribution, which are two important factors to form excellent extinction effect. Compared with acicular silica, the nearly perfect spherical shape of these particles has no substantial influence on the rheological properties of coatings. Using silica to produce high extinction effect is at the expense of greatly increasing the viscosity and thixotropy of the system. In most cases, excessive thixotropy is not welcome.

4, silica matting agent

Quartz sand (powder) ground from natural silicon dioxide contains a lot of impurities. The main component is silicon dioxide, which can't be called white carbon black, and has no extinction performance. It can only be used as a filler in coatings and has no extinction effect. As a matting agent for coatings, silica mainly includes synthetic silica, fumed silica and precipitated silica, and its microstructure is amorphous or glassy. Silica is synthesized by precipitation method with quartz sand as the main raw material, which is melted with sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate in a kiln at high temperature and then post-treated.

Fumed silica is prepared by hydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride vapor in hydrogen-oxygen flame, and its reaction formula is as follows:

1800℃SiCL+2 H2+O2->; Silicon dioxide+hydrochloric acid

Compared with natural silica, silica of white carbon black has high purity, good inertia and ultraviolet resistance. The refractive index of amorphous silica is 1.46, which is close to the refractive index of many resins in coating industry, so amorphous silica can be used as matting agent in coatings with good optical properties.
