Ma Xu, a fellow villager who went out from Mulan County, Harbin, just won the title of "Touching Longjiang" and was elected as "Touching China 20 18 Person of the Year".

Ma Xu was born in Mulan County, Harbin. She is the first female airborne soldier in China and has been engaged in medical work for decades. Now she is 86 years old. She/Kloc-left home at the age of 0/4, participated in the Liaoshen Campaign and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and won many awards for her meritorious service.
The "inflatable ankle protection" and "single soldier plateau oxygen vest" developed by her husband have won national patents, and published more than academic papers and experiences 100 in newspapers and periodicals inside and outside the military, among which "Physiology and Pathology of Airborne Soldiers" and "Basis of Physical and Mental Training of Airborne Soldiers" have filled the gaps in this field in China.
The couple live a very simple life, scrimping and saving. They unconditionally donated their life savings of 6,543,800 yuan to their hometown Mulan County for education and public welfare. This is the largest individual donation received by the county.
