Details of reward points for doctoral students
1. The second and third prize winners (top 3) of the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition and the National College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition will be awarded 3 points and 2 points respectively;
2. Those who win the second prize in the China College Student Computer Competition will be awarded 2 points;
3. Those who win the second prize in the National College Student Electronic Design Competition will be awarded 2 points;
4. Those who win the second prize in the National Undergraduate Mathematical Modeling Competition will be awarded 2 points;
5. Those who win the second prize in the ACM International College Student Programming Competition will be awarded 2 points;
6. Those who win the second prize in the National College Student Electronic Design Embedded System Special Topic Competition will be awarded 2 points;
7. Those who win the second prize in the National College Student Mechanical Innovation Design Competition will be awarded 2 points;
8. Those who win the National Architectural Design and Planning Design (including Paper) Excellence Award will be awarded 2 points;
9. Winners of the Interior Design Branch of the Architectural Society of China, the Environmental Art Design Professional Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, and the China Architectural Decoration Association The first and second prize winners of the organized professional design competition for college students will be awarded 2 points and 1 point respectively;
10. Those who win first, second and third place in the national sports competition will be awarded 3 points, 2 points and 1 point respectively;
11. While in school, those who obtain invention patents will be awarded 2 points; those who obtain utility model patents will be awarded 1 point;
12. Those who obtain the National Computer Professional Software Proficiency Examination System Analyst and Information System Project Manager Certificates , award 2 points; those who obtain software designer, network engineer, e-commerce designer, embedded system designer, information system supervisor certificates, award 1 point; those who obtain programmer, network administrator, e-commerce technician certificates, award 0.5 points. The bonus points for each major in the School of Computer Science and Technology are determined by the school at its sole discretion;
13. Those who obtain Level 4 and Level 3 certificates in the National Computer Rank Examination will be awarded 2 points and 1 point respectively; those who obtain Level 4, Level 3 and Level 2 certificates in liberal arts majors will be awarded 3 points, 2 points and 1 point respectively;
14. Those who win the first prize in the Hubei Provincial College Student Electronic Design Competition (not repeated with the national competition in the same year) will be awarded 1 point;
15. Those who win the first prize in the Hubei Provincial College Student Mathematical Modeling Competition (not repeated with the national competition in the same year) will be awarded 1 point;
16. Those who win the first prize in the Hubei Provincial College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition and the Provincial Literary and Art Activity Competition will be awarded 1 point;
17. Those who win the first prize in provincial architectural design and planning design (including papers) will be awarded 1 point;
18. Those who win the titles of National Three Good Students, Outstanding Student Cadres, and Outstanding Communist Youth League Members will be awarded 2 points;
19. Those who are awarded the title of Three Good Students, Outstanding Student Cadres and Outstanding Communist Youth League Members of Hubei Province will be awarded 1 point; those who are awarded the title of Advanced Individual in Social Practice of Hubei Province will be awarded 0.5 points;
20. Those who are awarded the title of "Three Good Student Models", Youth May 4th Medal, or "Excellent Student in Study" will be awarded 1 point (those who have won the title of this award multiple times during the school period will only be counted once and will not be accumulated);
21 ． Those who are awarded the school’s outstanding party branch secretary, the school’s outstanding student cadres, the school’s outstanding communist party members, the school’s three good students, and the school’s outstanding *** Youth League cadres will be awarded 0.5 points. Calculated as 1 time, not accumulated);
22. Those who publish papers in authoritative journals and core journals will be awarded 2 points and 1 point respectively (both are subject to official publication, and no points will be added for only the acceptance notice).
For awards not mentioned in the above terms, the award points will be determined by the Academic Affairs Office through consultation with relevant units.
This is the initial one. It changes every year. You can also add 0.5 points for CET-6. This year’s policy should be coming out soon. I will update it and tell you then.
However, extra points are just extra points after all. The most important thing is to ensure that the weighted average score in the first three years of college is outstanding and cannot be slacked off for one semester. If you pay attention to every subject, it won't matter if you fail in one or two subjects. The graduate retention rate was 15 last year, and it should be fine-tuned on this basis.
