He is also the director of the Chemical Process Simulation and Optimization Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, the head of the key discipline of chemical engineering in Hunan Province, and the vice chairman of the Chemical and Chemical Society. The Luo model and Luo-Svencen model were established, which provided a theoretical framework for the study of fluid particle fracture dynamics, solved the problem of quantitative description of fluid particle fracture dynamics behavior in turbulent dispersion system, and won the first prize of natural science of the Ministry of Education in 2007. In 2006, it won 2 second prizes of national scientific and technological progress, 2 first prizes of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress, 2 third prizes of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress, authorized national invention patents 12, applied for international invention patents 1, Hunan invention patent gold award 1, and China invention patent excellence award 1. The economic benefits of technological transformation have reached more than 300 million yuan/year. At present, he has presided over more than one vertical scientific research project 10, such as the key projects of the National Self-Science Foundation, with the funding of 10 million yuan and the contract amount of horizontal scientific research projects of more than 8 million yuan. He has published more than 60 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, such as Aichi, Chem Eng Comm, Chin J and Chem Eng.
