How can I trap a turtle?

First of all, of course, fishing. Turtle fishing can be done with a rocker. When choosing a fishing position, choose the lower back of the shore where turtles are infested. After baiting the hook or needle-shaped straight hook, connect it with the main line, then throw it into the water and insert the rocker. Choose bamboo or wicker half a meter long, be thicker, and sharpen the thick end, because it will be inserted into the soil. This kind of rocker should be made more, inserted in a row along the fishing position, and the rod distance is about 1 meter. Fishing usually takes place after dusk or in rainy days. During the day, you can find the water covered with trees, or you can insert a row of rockers along the coast. Find a shelter (far away but you can hear the fishing bell) to rest after throwing the pole. The main thread is a nylon thread with a diameter of 0.35 ~ 4 mm and a length of 1.5 ~ 2 m, one end of which is connected with a straight hook or a crucian hook, and the other end is tied to the fishing bell of the rocker. In order to facilitate disassembly, a lighter pendant can be attached to the front end of the rope hook, and the distance between the hooks is appropriate. A coupler is attached to the main line at the end, which is exactly the same as the hook method when fishing with a sea pole, except that the pendant is lighter, as long as the bait can sink to the bottom.

In addition to fishing, you can also use net fishing. When you hang the net, you will wake up. Tie a lead pendant to the foot of the net and sink into the water. This is a good net. Pay attention to the delicious bait. Soak with fresh chicken blood or chopped fresh pig liver, and seal with plastic bags. When casting a net, it should be spread in the downwind of the turtle or in the upper reaches of the river, so that the turtle can hardly resist the temptation. Pay attention when you take off the net. You must use the thumb and middle finger of one hand to buckle the hind leg fossa on both sides, and then you can take it off the net with the other hand. Never be bitten by a turtle, because it will never let go. The canvas bag of armored fish must be blocked with multi-strand rubber woven net of the same size at the top, which is not only conducive to ventilation, but also conducive to the selection and armored fish and easy to carry. In order to lure the soft-shelled turtle into the net automatically, the pig liver can be cut into pieces, mixed with appropriate amount of borneol powder, fennel powder and sesame oil, and then coated on the net. Turtle can catch other fish after throwing the net. However, it must be noted that after soaking the net with chicken blood or pig liver, it should not be stored in plastic bags for too long, otherwise it will deteriorate and stink, which will affect the fishing effect.

There is also a kind of cage catching turtle, which is similar to net catching. It weaves a beard cage with a big belly and a thin neck with iron wire, steel wire, bamboo or wicker, and then weaves a funnel-shaped beard halter with bamboo strips. There are some umbrella-shaped sharp bamboo strips left or inserted inside the funnel, so that turtles can climb in, but they can't climb out. The bait is the same as the net, and the bean cake is soaked in chicken blood and pig blood. Tie the moustache cage with a rope and throw it into the water where the turtle infests, and the turtle will automatically get into the cage. If wickerwork's beard cage is light, a stone should be added to it to help sink the bottom. Cages are usually thrown into the water the night before and salvaged the next morning.

Finally, steel forks are introduced to catch soft-shelled turtles. Double-row fork or multi-tooth fork is a good tool to catch soft-shelled turtle. From the cold winter to beginning of spring, it is the hibernation period of soft-shelled turtle. At this time, it is most appropriate to catch turtles with steel forks. In shallow waters, you can take a boat to search for traces of soft-shelled turtles in waters less than 2 meters deep. There's something fishy about it. Hard is stone, soft is sediment, and soft is target. When inserting the turtle cover, it will make a slight hollow sound and feel weightless after piercing hard objects. Because there are barbs on the fork, it is impossible to lift it easily wherever it hurts the turtle. When the fork is blocked, most of them are turtles. When the fork reaches the tortoise, you should twist it before lifting it. This makes it easy to carry water, and it is not easy to get off the fork when you get to the skirt. When picking a fork, first buckle the "turtle nest" at the root of the hind limb with the thumb and forefinger of your left hand, and then pick it to prevent it from being bitten by your hand. After taking the fork, all the turtles were seriously injured, except those who crossed into the skirt, all the others were dying. Therefore, the turtle caught with a steel fork should be treated as soon as possible, otherwise it will be broken.
