China Institute of Chemistry

1. Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing)

Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, founded in 1956, is a multidisciplinary comprehensive research institute focusing on basic research, focusing on high-tech innovation research urgently needed by the country and with important strategic objectives, and coordinating with the application and transformation of high-tech. It is a high-level chemical research institution with important international influence.

The main disciplines of the Institute of Chemistry are polymer science, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry and inorganic chemistry.

Therefore, since its establishment, the Institute of Chemistry has won more than 300 national and provincial achievement awards. In terms of the number of published SCI papers and cited papers, it has been in the forefront of national scientific research institutions for more than ten years in a row, especially the number of high-impact papers has kept growing, and the natural index has been ranked first in the Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences for five consecutive years.

The number of patent applications and authorizations of the Institute of Chemistry has always been among the best among the research institutions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a number of important achievements have been applied to national economic construction and national defense construction.

2. Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, CAS

Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (referred to as Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry) is a comprehensive chemical research institution integrating basic research, applied research and high-tech innovation research. Founded in May 1950, it is one of the first 15 research institutes established by China Academy of Sciences. Its predecessor was the former Institute of Chemistry of Academia Sinica, which was established in July 1928.

Shanghai Institute of Organic Technology has two State Key Laboratories and four State Key Laboratories, namely, bioorganic chemistry State Key Laboratory, Metal Organic Chemistry State Key Laboratory and China Academy of Sciences State Key Laboratory of Organic Fluorine Chemistry.

State Key Laboratory of Organic Synthetic Chemistry of Natural Products of China Academy of Sciences, State Key Laboratory of Organic Functional Molecular Synthesis and Assembly Chemistry of China Academy of Sciences and State Key Laboratory of Energy Control Materials of China Academy of Sciences. In addition, there are several joint research centers jointly established with universities and enterprises at home and abroad, such as Shanghai-Hong Kong Joint Laboratory for Chemical Synthesis and Ningbo New Materials Creation Center.

Entrusted by chinese chemical society, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry is responsible for editing and publishing Organic Chemistry, Journal of Chemistry and China Chemistry (English version).

3. Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS

Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics") was established in March 1949, with the name of "Dalian University Institute" at that time. 196 1 was renamed "Institute of Chemical Physics, China Academy of Sciences" at the end, and 1970 was officially named "Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences".

Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics is a comprehensive research institute that pays equal attention to basic research and applied research, combines applied research with technological transformation, and takes topics as its main features. The key disciplines of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics are catalytic chemistry, engineering chemistry, chemical laser and molecular reaction dynamics, modern analytical chemistry and biotechnology.

Focusing on the national energy development strategy, Dalian Institute of Chemical Technology started the preparation of the National Laboratory for Clean Energy (DNL) on 201kloc-0/0. DNL is the first national laboratory established in China's energy field. It is planned to establish platforms such as fossil energy and applied catalysis, low-carbon catalysis and engineering, energy conservation and environment, fuel cell, energy storage, hydrogen energy and advanced materials, bioenergy, solar energy, ocean energy, energy foundation and strategy, and energy research technology.

Therefore, since its establishment, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics has produced a group of famous scientists at home and abroad and a large number of high-quality research and technical personnel. Twenty scientists were elected as academicians of China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering, four from developing countries, and 1 European Academy of Humanities and Natural Sciences. By the end of 20 18, there were 4 academicians of China Academy of Sciences, 2 academicians of National Thousand Talents Program, 25 academicians of Innovative Talents Promotion Program and 25 academicians of National Outstanding Youth Fund.
