Born in Shanghai, Yuyao, Zhejiang. Director of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of Beijing Normal University, director, professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing Key Laboratory of Genetic Engineering Drugs and Biotechnology. Director of China Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Member of China People's Political Consultative Conference.

1970 graduated from the department of biology of Peking University, majoring in biochemistry. After graduation, he worked in the Northwest Plateau Institute of Biology of China Academy of Sciences and the pharmaceutical factory of the institute, and participated in many drug research and development work. 198 1 obtained the master of science degree from the Department of Biochemistry of Beijing Normal University. After graduation, he stayed in school to study protein phosphatase and tumor pharmacology. 1985- 1987, 1994-96, 1999-2000 successively worked in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Miami Medical College, the Institute of Neurobiology of Columbia University and the Institute of Brain of Leipzig University, Germany.

1992 was awarded "Returned Overseas Students with Outstanding Contributions" by the Ministry of Personnel and others. He presided over more than 20 national natural fund projects, national key fund projects and key research projects. He has published more than 80 papers in important journals at home and abroad. Edited and arranged 10 textbooks and works. He presided over the "Study on the Structure and Function of Calcineurin" and won the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education 1998. The "pharmaceutical composition containing calcineurin B subunit" has applied for national invention patents (authorized) and American and Japanese invention patents, and this patent is currently under research and development as the 863 project "Research and development of a new genetic engineering anticancer drug CNB".
