According to the "Hubei Provincial Patent Award Reward Measures", the Hubei Provincial Patent Award consists of a Patent Gold Award, a Patent Silver Award, and a Patent Excellence Award. The Patent Gold Award, Patent Silver Award, and Patent Excellence Award are determined from invention patents, utility model patents, and design patents. The total number of awards for each Hubei Provincial Patent Award shall not exceed 80, including no more than 20 Patent Gold Awards, no more than 30 Patent Silver Awards, and no more than 30 Patent Excellence Awards. The prize amounts for the Patent Gold Award, Patent Silver Award and Patent Excellence Award are 300,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan and 200,000 yuan respectively. Bonuses are awarded to inventors (designers).
