Although there is no absolute, in most cases, relationship is greater than ability. I am an employee of a state-owned enterprise in Shenzhen. Let me talk about some of my experiences there.
In 2007, due to school recruitment, I entered this state-owned enterprise in Shenzhen. At that time, there were not as many college students as there are now, so I could do well in any college. But this "good" is limited to good work, quick transition to full-time job, and salary that is acceptable compared to other companies (but buying a house in Shenzhen is just a dream).
The promotions there need to be recommended by big shots. Ordinary people will stop moving forward at a certain level and have to work hard. You won’t be promoted. Then when the time comes, they will start to find faults. I want you to resign yourself (the company won’t have to lose money).
But fortunately, I was engaged in chip technology, and no one asked me to leave directly. I was just angry and resigned once. After resigning, I did not go to other companies because something happened at home at that time. I stayed at home for three months. After these three months, I received various calls from there asking if I had a job and if I wanted to come back.
I am not as awesome as Mr. Zhang Xiaoping. Later, the company gave me a 2K raise, so I accepted it shamefully. The high-paying jobs were management positions and idle positions. There was a clerical worker who usually ran errands and delivered watches, and then found a corner to open the Honor of Kings store, and his salary was higher than mine.
It is certain that you are not willing to give in, but who says it doesn’t matter to you? It’s almost enough to support the family, and there’s no point in resisting yourself.
