In fact, the reason is very simple. The water sprayed by the high-pressure water pump is highly atomized. After entering the combustion chamber, it will quickly absorb heat and become steam, which not only reduces the temperature, but also will not adhere to the cylinder wall or piston, causing rust or affecting lubrication.
Of course, if it is really the kind of high-performance car that is not bad for money, such as F 1 racing car and super sports car, it is still too slow to absorb heat by spraying water, and ethanol can be sprayed instead. It makes sense to use Erguotou. Ethanol can volatilize and absorb heat at normal temperature, and the gasification speed is faster at high temperature, and ethanol can also be burned, which can further improve the power output.
