However, the extension of service life is much higher than the price increase, so the daily average use cost of phosphating coated steel wire rope is only 30-45% of that of smooth steel wire rope, which is lower in use cost and higher in cost performance.

For hoisting machinery used in atmospheric environment, manganese phosphating coated wire rope is preferred, hot dip galvanized-phosphating double-coated wire rope is preferred in heavy corrosive environment, and marine wire rope is preferred in seawater.
