Double-click on the computer to open the CPC client, click the drop-down menu symbol next to "Apply for a patent" on the upper left, and then click the type of patent you want to apply for.

In the newly popped-up electronic application editor, you can see "Request for Invention Patent", "Description" and "Claim" on the left.

Click "Request for Invention Patent" on the left side of the electronic application editor, and a document similar to word will pop up in the electronic application editor. Please fill in the paper patent requests in turn and click "Save".

Click "Description" on the left side of the electronic application editor, and a word document will also pop up in the electronic application editor. You can copy the pre-written patent specification and click "Save".

After completing the above two steps, click "Claim" on the left side of the electronic application editor, and a word document will pop up in the electronic application editor, where you can copy the pre-written claim and click "Save" after filling it out.

Click the "Add" button on the left side of the electronic application editor, and then click the file type you want to add. It will appear in the menu on the left side. Then, according to the same method as the above three steps, all electronic materials needed for patent application can be supplemented.

Click "Add" at the bottom left of the electronic application editor, then select "Application for Fee Reduction", fill in the form as required, and click "Save".

When all electronic materials are filled in and saved, click "Save All" at the top left of the electronic application editor, and then click "Exit". Go back to the main interface of CPC client electronic application, click "New Application" in the draft box on the left, and a newly filled patent document will appear in the blank space on the right, check it, and then click "Signature" on the top.

After signing, the documents in the draft box will be automatically transferred to the box to be sent. Click "New Application" in the box to be sent to see the newly signed document. Please also check it, and then click the "Send" button above to wait for the application documents to be sent successfully.
