(1) Confirm whether the submission is successful 1. If you submit an online application for trademark registration, you should log in to the system on the next working day after the online application, retrieve the application from the previous working day through the "Application Query" function, and check the submission status: 1 ) is marked as "Download", indicating that the application was submitted successfully. 2) If the status is marked as "updated", it means that it is pending confirmation whether the application has been submitted successfully. There are two reasons why the online application will still be in the "updated" status on the next working day: first, some data formats of the application (such as the data format of the trademark pattern) do not meet the requirements; second, there is a malfunction in the Trademark Office's online application system. If it is due to a failure of the online application system, the Trademark Office will issue a rolling announcement on the homepage of the system. The applicant or the trademark agency organization entrusted by it should confirm whether the submission is successful after the Trademark Office issues a troubleshooting announcement. If some data formats of the application (such as the data format of trademark drawings) do not meet the requirements, the applicant or the trademark agency entrusted by it should contact the system administrator in a timely manner (system administrator’s contact information: efiling@saic. gov.cn). If it is confirmed that the data format does not meet the requirements, the application will be deemed to have not been submitted successfully, the application date will not be retained, and the online application will be deleted, but the applicant or the trademark agency entrusted by it can submit another written application. 3) If the query cannot be found, it means that the application was not submitted successfully. Important note: If the online application is still in the "updated" status on the next working day, you should first check the rolling announcement on the homepage of the trademark online application system to see if there is relevant information released by the system administrator; if not, you should contact the system administrator immediately.
