Origin of gene patent right

Since the launch of "Human Genetic Engineering" in 1990s, the United States, Japan and Europe have launched a fierce battle for gene patents. Because whoever owns the patent means who can get the "trump card" to monopolize the world gene industry, who will have a huge market for future gene development.
