1. For trademark application, the applicant or the client submits an application for trademark registration to the local Trademark Patent Office, which will issue an acceptance receipt and date number after accepting it;
2. Submit trademark application materials. The applicant or the client shall submit the relevant materials for applying for trademark registration to the Patent Office for Trademark Application;
3. The Trademark Patent Office conducts formal examination of the application materials, and then submits them to the examiner for substantive examination;
4. Examiners conduct substantive examination of trademarks, and then publicize the trademarks and publish them in newspapers;
5. The trademark is an objection period within three months from the date of newspaper publication, and anyone has the right to object to its trademark;
6. After the end of the objection period, if the trademark has no objection or the objection is not established, the trademark registration is successful;
7. Successful registered trademarks shall be issued with relevant trademark certificates.
Article 22 of the Trademark Law, an applicant for trademark registration shall fill in the category and name of the goods using the trademark in accordance with the prescribed commodity classification table and file an application for registration.
An applicant for trademark registration may apply for the registration of the same trademark for many kinds of goods through one application.
Applications for trademark registration and other relevant documents may be submitted in written form or in the form of data messages.
Article 23 Where a registered trademark needs to obtain the exclusive right to use a trademark on goods outside the approved scope of use, a separate application for registration shall be filed.
