A lawyer who changes his practice institution shall go through the handover procedures of business, archives and finance with the original law firm.
A lawyer who applies for local change of practice institution shall submit the following materials to the district and county judicial bureau where the practice institution is to be changed:
(a) the certificate issued by the county judicial bureau where the original practice institution is located that the applicant does not exist in the circumstances stipulated in Article 21 of the Measures for the Administration of Lawyers' Practice;
(2) the certificate of termination of employment or partnership with the original practice institution and completion of business, archives, finance and other handover procedures;
(3) The practicing institution to be changed agrees to accept the applicant's certificate and labor employment contract;
(4) Proof of practice experience audited by Beijing Lawyers Association.
When a lawyer applies for changing his practice institution locally, he shall truthfully fill out the Application Form for Changing his Practice Institution.
The district/county judicial bureau shall, within 20 days from the date of receiving the application materials for changing the local lawyer's practice institution, conduct a review, and submit the review opinions and all the application materials to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice shall, within ten days from the date of receiving the review opinions and all application materials submitted by the district and county judicial bureaus, make a decision on whether to approve the change of the practice institution.
If the change of practice institution is approved, the lawyer's practice certificate shall be renewed within ten days from the date of decision. If it is not allowed to change the practice institution, it shall explain the reasons in writing to the applicant.
