1. Causes and Pathogenesis: Insufficient heart yang, insufficient heart blood, or stagnant yin and cold; or internal evil obstruction such as phlegm or blood stasis that blocks the chest yang and meridians, resulting in poor heart yang and blocked heart pulse. If it is blocked, it will cause pain and chest obstruction.
(1) The spleen and kidney yang deficiency caused by old age, frailty, and long-term illness cannot stimulate the heart yang. The heart yang is weak and unable to incite the blood vessels. If the pulse is weak, the blood will not flow, and if the blood does not flow, the pulse will not flow. Blockage, blockage and pain.
(2) Dietary fatigue damages the spleen, the spleen yang is weak, and the biochemical source of qi and blood is insufficient, resulting in heart and blood deficiency, insufficient blood, blocked pulse and chest obstruction.
(3) The heart and lung qi of the body are weak, cold evil takes advantage of the deficiency, cold coagulation and blood astringency, numbness and blockage of the veins lead to chest paralysis.
(4) Injury to emotions, loss of liver function, qi stagnation and blood stasis, and blockage of veins and blood stasis will cause chest pain and heartache.
(5) Overeating fat, sweet wine, cheese, and eating too much will damage the spleen and stomach, resulting in poor movement of the subtle organs, failure to transform water and dampness, internal growth of phlegm, and blockage of the veins, resulting in chest paralysis.
2. Dialectical treatment
(1) Yin-cold syndrome:
Syndrome: chest tightness, shortness of breath, chest pain throughout the back, severe when exposed to cold, chills Cold limbs, severe symptoms include panting and being unable to lie down, pale complexion, palpitations and spontaneous sweating, cold limbs, white slippery or greasy coating, and a heavy and thready pulse.
Treatment method: Xuanbi and Tongyang, dispersing cold and transforming turbidity.
Main Recipe: Gualou, Xiebai and Baijiu Soup.
(2) Syndrome of phlegm and turbidity:
Syndrome: Swelling and pain in the chest and chest, sometimes slow and sometimes sharp, sometimes pain in the shoulders and back, palpitations, shortness of breath, heavy body, dizziness, eating less Abdominal distension, obesity or shortness of breath when coughing, sticky white phlegm, fat and tender tongue, white and greasy coating, slow and slippery pulse.
Treatment method: Xuanbi and Tongyang, regulating qi and removing phlegm.

(3) Blood stasis syndrome:

(4) Syndrome of Qi and Yin deficiency:
Syndrome: chest tightness and dull pain that comes and goes, palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue and laziness, pale complexion, dizziness, and fatigue. The pain is severe. The pulse is thin, weak or blocked.
Treatment: Replenish qi and nourish yin, activate blood circulation and dredge collaterals.
Main prescription: Shengmai San combined with Ginseng Yangrong Decoction.
3. Dialectical nursing
(1) General nursing:
① Patients with severe heartache need absolute bed rest; in general, patients with chest paralysis should pay attention to rest , moderate activity.
② Closely observe the time, nature, degree and location of the patient's chest tightness and heartache, pay attention to the heart rate and rhythm, and report any abnormalities to the doctor in a timely manner. Pay attention to observing changes in blood pressure, pulse, and body temperature, and test and record them regularly if necessary.
③ This disease often occurs at night, so it is necessary to strengthen patrols in the ward to detect changes in the condition in a timely manner.
④ Keep the stool smooth and do not take responsibility to avoid heartache. Patients should be given timely laxative treatment and care when they are constipated. For example, external use of glycerin suppositories, kaiselu, or oral administration of Maren Runchang Pills, drinking 1 cup of honey water daily, or soapy water enemas to assist defecation.
⑤ In case of heartache, chest tightness, or difficulty breathing, oxygen should be given promptly and correctly, and report to the doctor if necessary.
⑥ Patients with chest paralysis must quit smoking and drink alcohol with caution.
⑦ When heartache attacks, acupuncture can be used to relieve pain. Acupuncture points such as Shenmen, Neiguan, Xinshu, Tanzhong, and Hegu are often used, or acupuncture points such as the heart of the ear, adrenal gland, and subcortex are often used.
(2) Yin-cold syndrome:

(3) Phlegm and turbidity syndrome:

② The diet should be mainly vegetarian, avoid fatty, sweet and thick food, and quit smoking and alcohol to avoid causing dampness and phlegm.

(4) Blood stasis syndrome:

③ When heartache occurs, you can take medicine to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, such as chewing 1 Xintong Pill, or taking 1.5 g of Panax notoginseng powder and 1.5 g of Agarwood powder to promote qi, activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Or 5 Danshen tablets to activate blood circulation and relieve pain. If necessary, take 1 tablet of nitroglycerin sublingually.
④ You can drink 30ml of safflower wine every day to activate blood circulation.
⑤ Observe the nature and extent of the chest pain attack. If the pain is severe, palpitation, shortness of breath, purple lips, cold hands and feet, it may be a sign of true pain, and oxygen should be given immediately (inhalation of a higher flow rate of 2 to 3L/ Minutes) report to the doctor in a timely manner and be prepared for emergency calls, closely observe changes in blood pressure, pulse, complexion, and limb temperature, cooperate with emergency calls, and keep records.
(5) Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome:

4. Health guidance
