The standard controller of this Switch is a new operating device called Joy-Con. The two Joy-Con controllers are connected to both sides of the Switch tablet through slide rails and can be removed and used through wireless connection. They can also be used as a controller independently for local cooperation or battle in games with corresponding support. Joy-Con has six-axis sensing, infrared sensing and a new "HD vibration" function. You can use the Joy-Con grip included with the host to combine the left and right handles into a traditional layout handle. The Joy-Con controller will be available in two color schemes: gray and red and blue neon at launch. In addition, there is also a dedicated Pro controller available, with a layout closer to a traditional controller, with dedicated cross keys, and also provides wireless use, but does not have HD vibration and infrared sensing functions, and has a battery life of up to 40 hours. The Pro controller is not included with the console and needs to be purchased separately. In addition, Switch no longer supports operating devices of previous generations of Nintendo consoles, including Wii Remote, Wii Classic Controller, Wii U Tablet, Wii U Pro Controller, and GameCube Controller connected through an adapter.
