Generally speaking, there is a difference between a vocational high school student status and an ordinary high school student status. If the student status is in a vocational school, there are three options:
1. Take the college entrance examination like ordinary students. At present, although some vocational high schools are vocational high school students, they offer ordinary high school courses. In this way, children can study culture classes like ordinary high school students and take the college entrance examination as well. The content of the exam is foreign language+liberal arts comprehensive or science comprehensive. It should be emphasized that you are not recruiting students from higher vocational colleges.
2. With a vocational high school student status, you can take the art test and the special student test. Examination content: 3 (beyond the number of languages) +X (physical chemistry, politics, biology, historical geography)+specialty or art category. In other words, you can take the general college entrance examination if you have an ordinary high school student status. There are three options to have a vocational high school student status. You can take the general college entrance examination, you can also take part in counterpart education, and you can also take part in special students or art tests. You can only choose one at three o'clock, but you can't report at the same time. It depends on the learning content. The difference is that the general college entrance examination can apply to any university. Vocational high schools must apply for one, two and higher vocational schools (military schools are not allowed to apply, depending on the admission batches of each province)
3. Participate in counterpart education. The content of vocational high school students' learning is different from that of ordinary high schools. Major language learning plus specialized courses. The foreign language textbook is compiled by the Provincial Department of Education, and its content is relatively simple. Higher vocational students can take the corresponding entrance examination after graduation. The counterpart college entrance examination also belongs to the college entrance examination, which belongs to the same type as the high school entrance examination, and the examination time is the same. June 7 ~ 8 every year, organized by the national education authorities in accordance with certain procedures. It is exactly the same as the nature of the university admitted to the general college entrance examination. The examination subjects are Chinese, mathematics, English+professional integration, with a total score of 750 points.
Secondary vocational schools are divided into more than ten categories, each of which is different, and the enrollment plan and admission are also classified. Which schools can apply for the college entrance examination depends on the province where the candidates are located and the corresponding enrollment plan announced by the college entrance examination that year. The enrollment plans of counterparts in different provinces are different. Before entering the college entrance examination, the specific enrollment institutions will be announced. The counterpart college entrance examination can only take two or three books in this province and higher vocational colleges.
There are two ways for vocational high school students to enter higher schools: single recruit and college entrance examination, and the examination difficulty is relatively low. At the same time, vocational high school students can also take the general college entrance examination.
The state has intensified the reform of vocational education and established "through train" and "overpass" for higher vocational education and secondary vocational education. It is no longer a "patent" for high school students to enter universities for further study. Secondary vocational school students can take the "counterpart college entrance examination" or "individual enrollment" exam when they graduate, or they can be admitted to undergraduate or junior college. They have the same qualifications as those who passed the general college entrance examination and obtained full-time university diplomas.
