China ranks first in the world with an annual output of10.8 million tons of steel wire rope. Phosphating wire rope is a revolutionary and innovative technology in the field of wire rope in the world. Its service life (fatigue life) has been greatly improved, and smooth wire rope has been completely eliminated, entering the era of phosphating coated wire rope.
1. Phosphating coated steel wire rope (patented by China) has been treated with manganese or zinc-manganese phosphating, and the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the steel wire surface have all-round jumped. The national standard GB/T11376-1997 describes in detail the wear resistance and rust resistance of the phosphating film, and the oil permeates into the pores of the phosphating film to play an extremely excellent antifriction role. It can effectively inhibit the wear of the steel wire surface inside the steel wire rope, and is an upgraded product of smooth steel wire rope. It can be used instead of galvanized steel wire rope with thin zinc coating. At present, the fatigue life of phosphating rope is about 3 times, preferably 4 times, that of smooth wire rope. Fatigue life can be compared by fatigue test. With the in-depth study of wear-resistant phosphating solution in the future, the service life can be greatly improved. The phosphating film is 3-60g/m2, and the phosphatized steel wire is directly twisted without drawing.
Note: Zinc phosphating for wire drawing should not be confused with manganese phosphating or zinc-manganese phosphating for rope steel wire. This technology is suitable for producing all kinds of wire ropes, such as elevator wire ropes, important wire ropes, mine wire ropes, anti-rotation wire ropes, wire ropes for oil production, wire ropes for pile drivers, etc. Longer service life, lower use cost and better stability. .
2. Galvanized steel wire rope, including hot dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. The thicker the zinc layer of direct hot-dip galvanized steel wire, the thicker the zinc layer, the stronger the corrosion resistance, and the longer the service time, the thinner the zinc electroplating. Because phosphating film has certain corrosion resistance, manganese phosphating film steel wire rope can replace some kinds of thin galvanized steel wire rope, such as atmospheric environment but humid high temperature environment, and the corrosion resistance of hot dip galvanized-phosphating double-coated steel wire rope is further improved.
3. Stainless steel wire rope, steel wire rope twisted with stainless steel wire, such as 304 or 3 16 stainless steel, has higher corrosion resistance and is more expensive than hot-dip galvanized carbon steel wire rope. Manganese phosphating coating treatment of stainless steel wire (phosphating of stainless steel wire requires special phosphating formula) can also greatly prolong its service life.
4. Plastic coated steel wire rope: on the basis of steel wire rope, the outer layer of steel wire rope or strand rope is coated with polyethylene and polypropylene.
5. Smooth steel wire rope produced in UK 1834 and China Tianjin No.1 Steel Wire Rope Factory1939 (bankrupt in 2005) will be completely eliminated with a large number of phosphating coated steel wire ropes entering the market.
6. Relevant standards for mooring wire ropes in offshore engineering are being formulated and approved.
7. Wire rope
Manganese phosphating coated steel wire rope is preferred in atmospheric environment, hot dip galvanized-phosphating double-coated steel wire rope is preferred in corrosive environment, and marine steel wire rope is preferred in seawater environment, which has longer service life and lower use cost.
