According to the latest batch of information in the new energy vehicle promotion catalog of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we learned that in addition to its good looks, the much-anticipated domestic pure electric coupe: BYD Han EV will also have Super long cruising range of 605 kilometers.
BYD Han EV will be available in two versions: the single-motor version has a maximum power of 222 horsepower, a peak torque of 330 N·m, a curb weight of 2,020 kilograms, and a NEDC comprehensive range of 605km. The dual-motor model is equipped with a front-drive motor with a maximum power of 222 horsepower and a rear-drive motor with a maximum power of 272 horsepower. The curb weight is 2,170 kilograms and the NEDC comprehensive range is 550km.
In addition, BYD Han will also launch a DM model. The engine has a maximum power of 192 horsepower, the motor has a maximum power of 245 horsepower, the curb weight is 2020 kilograms, and it is equipped with a ternary lithium battery. The NEDC pure electric comprehensive cruising range is 81 kilometers.
It is worth mentioning that this time the Han EV uses BYD’s newly developed lithium iron phosphate “blade battery”. The battery energy density is 140Wh/kg, which is considered an excellent level. This technology can ensure high energy density and lifespan, while also reducing manufacturing costs. According to patent information, the battery core can be directly integrated into a battery pack without a module (i.e. CTP technology), thereby greatly improving integration efficiency.
