Is it necessary for the copyright owner to sign the patent application?
A patent application does not require the signature of the copyright owner. According to relevant public information, the patent application documents only need the signatures of patent participants, while the intellectual property rights of service inventions belong to enterprises, institutions, scientific research institutes and other organizations. If the applicant for a patent is a company and needs to be sealed and signed by the company, the application documents shall include: the request for a patent for invention, the specification (which shall be submitted with drawings), the patent claim, the abstract (with drawings if necessary) and other documents.
