How to inquire about the notification of patent electronic application?

At present, the "inquiry service" of China Patent Electronic Application Network provides two services: document submission inquiry and electronic document inquiry.

As the name implies, "file submission query" means that users can log on to the website to download the scanned file submitted by themselves after submitting the file at the client (PCT's application for entering China can only be downloaded after receiving the "notice of entering the national phase"). Through this function, users can clearly see the files contained in the submitted case file and download the scanned case file. This function plays an important role in data loss caused by sudden computer problems, comparing whether the text submitted to the patent office is consistent with what the examiner saw, deleting the original submitted documents by mistake, confirming and counting the new applications and intermediate documents submitted on the same day, and replying.

Users can query the case file information by filling in the query conditions such as case submission time, case file number or application number (only one of them is recommended). The function of "electronic file inquiry" is mainly embodied in checking whether the number of notifications actually received by CPC clients is consistent with the files actually issued by the Patent Office, and the download status of notifications. Users enter the posting date or application number (note: the application number cannot be entered in decimal point, if it is X, the check bit should be capitalized), and click Query to know how the user received the notice under the query conditions.

Through this simple inspection, we can avoid the trouble caused by the loss of notice caused by system reasons or improper human operation in time. Therefore, this function is more important for institutions with many applications.
