1900, 1 1 month, Professor Fessenden gave a speech broadcast, but the voice was extremely unclear and was not taken seriously. However, the first successful radio broadcast should be an experimental broadcast made by American Nelson Stafford in Murray, Kentucky on 1902.
Stafford only went to elementary school. He eagerly taught himself electricity and later became an inventor. 1886, he read a German Hertz's talk about radio waves in a magazine, from which he was inspired and tried to apply it to wireless broadcasting. At that time, Bell, the inventor of the telephone, was also thinking about this problem, but he was concerned about wired broadcasting, while Stepfield was concerned about wireless broadcasting. After continuous research and development, we finally achieved results. He placed five receivers in a nearby village and a microphone in Murray Square. Everything is ready, but he is too nervous to know what to play, so he has to call his son Banat and ask him to speak into the microphone and play the harmonica. The experiment was successful, and Banat Stafford became the first radio actor in the world.
After his successful broadcast in Murray, he broadcasted it in Philadelphia and obtained the patent right of the Washington Patent Office. At present, the monument of "the father of wireless broadcasting" has been erected at Murray University in Kentucky.
