On September 26, Jianghuai Automobile issued an announcement stating that the company and its holding subsidiaries received a total of 206 million government subsidies. JAC said that the above-mentioned subsidy funds will be included in the current profit and loss in 2020 and will have a positive impact on the company's profits in 2020.
This year, JAC has repeatedly disclosed announcements of government subsidies, which so far have been close to 800 million yuan.
The projects receiving subsidies this time include foreign trade promotion policy awards and subsidies, patent quota subsidies, research and development expense subsidies, etc. Among them, research and development expense subsidies accounted for more than 90%, accounting for 200 million yuan.
JAC’s 2020 semi-annual report shows that its operating income for the current period was 24.94 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 7.6%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was a loss of 150 million yuan, compared with 130 million yuan in the same period last year. In terms of operating costs, JAC Motors’ operating costs in the first half of the year were 23.6 billion yuan, a slight decrease of 1.6% year-on-year.
