What is the principle of patent exhaustion?

Exhaustion of patent rights refers to the act of using or reselling a patented product manufactured by the patentee or manufactured with the permission of the patentee after it is sold, which will not be regarded as infringement of the patent right. The exhaustion of patent rights mainly includes the following two situations: (1) After the parts of the patented product manufactured by the patentee or manufactured with the permission of the patentee are sold, the act of using and selling the parts should be deemed to have obtained the patent right. (2) The patentee of a manufacturing method patent manufactures or allows others to manufacture equipment specifically used to implement the patented method and sells it, and then uses the equipment to implement the patented manufacturing method.
