Wu Qingping, 1962 was born in Jiaoling, 1984 received a bachelor's degree in forestry from South China Agricultural University, 1987 received a master's degree in forest protection from South China Agricultural University, and 1999 received a doctorate in fermentation engineering from South China University of Technology. He is a famous expert in food microbiology in China. He is currently the director of Guangdong Institute of Microbiology and the vice chairman of Guangdong Society of Microbiology.
