Charging time of BYD electric vehicle: charging time
When charging BYD electric vehicle, it takes a long time for the battery to warm up (to the set value) and then start to enter the normal charging state, so the charging problem has been bothering many riders.
But in fact, it takes 9 hours to charge a BYD electric car with 220 volts household electricity, which should be around 15 degrees. If it is a professional charging station, it only takes 15 minutes to half an hour.
I think I'm still looking forward to BYD electric cars. It can be filled in 9 hours at a time. The exact number of kilowatt hours is still unknown. 10 degrees or so, full in 8- 10 hours. According to the charger's 2kw power, 2 degrees per hour, 10 hour and 20 degrees, then only 1 yuan is needed per degree. BYD's electric car E6 takes 9 hours to charge once, but it can travel 350 kilometers only in 9.8 yuan.
Charging time of BYD electric vehicle: charging method
After the battery of electric vehicle is discharged, direct current is used to pass through the battery in the opposite direction to the discharge current to restore its working ability. This process is called battery charging. When charging the battery, the positive electrode of the battery is connected with the positive electrode of the power supply, and the negative electrode of the battery is connected with the negative electrode of the power supply. The charging power supply voltage must be higher than the total electromotive force of the battery. There are two charging methods: constant current charging and constant voltage charging.
Research on charging method of electric vehicle charging technology;
The traditional charging system is designed according to the internationally recognized empirical rules before 1940. The most famous is the ampere-hour rule: the amperage of the charging current cannot exceed the ampere-hour of the charged battery. In fact, the speed of conventional charging is limited by the increase of battery and gas temperature during charging. This phenomenon is very important for the shortest battery charging time.
Constant current charging method
Constant current charging method is a charging method to keep the charging current constant by adjusting the output voltage of the charging device or changing the series resistance with the battery. The adjustment method is simple, but with the completion of the charging process, the acceptable current capacity of the battery gradually decreases. In the later stage of charging, the charging current is mostly used to electrolyze water, producing gas and degassing too much. Therefore, the link charging method is often used.
Link charging method
The method comprises a two-link charging method and a three-link charging method.
(1) The two connection modes adopt a fast charging mode combining constant current and constant voltage. First, use constant current to charge to a predetermined voltage value, and then change to constant voltage to complete the remaining charging. The switching voltage between most links is the constant voltage of the second link.
② Three-way charging method adopts constant current charging at the beginning and end of charging, and constant voltage charging in the middle. When the current decays to a predetermined value, it switches from the second link to the third link. This method can minimize gas output, but as a fast charging method, it is subject to necessary restrictions.
Constant voltage charging method
The voltage of the charging power supply remains constant during the whole charging period, and the current gradually shortens with the gradual increase of the terminal voltage of the battery. Compared with the constant current charging method, the charging process is closer to the optimal charging curve. Constant voltage fast charging, because the battery electromotive force is low at the initial stage of charging and the charging current is large, it will gradually become shorter with the charging current, so simply adjust the system.
This charging method uses less electrolyzed water to prevent the battery from being overcharged. However, in the initial stage of charging, the current is too large, which has a great relationship with the battery life, and it is easy to bend the battery plate, leading to battery scrap. In view of this shortcoming, constant voltage charging is rarely used, and it is only used when the charging power supply voltage is low and the current is large. For example, when a car is driving, the battery is charged by constant voltage charging.
quick charge
① Pulse charging method can not only follow the inherent charging acceptance rate of battery, but also improve the charging acceptance rate of electric vehicle battery, so it will break the limit of exponential charging acceptance curve of battery, which is also a new development of battery charging theory.
② Reflex(TM) fast charging method, the key charging object is nickel-cadmium battery. Because of the new charging method, the memory effect of nickel-cadmium battery is solved, and the fast charging time of the battery is greatly shortened. The charging method of lead-acid battery and the method of checking the charging state are very different from those of nickel-cadmium battery, but they can learn from each other. A working cycle of REFLEXTM charging method includes three links: forward charging pulse, reverse instantaneous discharge pulse, stop charging and maintenance.
③ Variable current intermittent charging method, based on constant current charging and pulse charging, as shown in Figure 7. Characterized in that a constant-current charging section is changed into a voltage-limiting variable-current intermittent charging section. At the beginning of charging, intermittent charging with variable current is adopted to ensure the increase of charging current and obtain most of the charging amount. In the later stage of charging, the constant voltage charging part is used to obtain overcharge and restore the battery to a fully charged state. By stopping charging intermittently, the oxygen and hydrogen produced by the chemical reaction of the battery can be combined and absorbed, which naturally eliminates concentration polarization and ohmic polarization, thus reducing the internal pressure of the battery, making the next round of constant current charging smoother and making the battery absorb more electricity.
④ Variable voltage intermittent charging method, based on the variable voltage intermittent charging method, another variable voltage intermittent charging method is proposed, as shown in Figure 8. The difference with variable current intermittent charging method is that the first step is not intermittent constant current, but intermittent constant voltage. In each constant-voltage charging link, the charging current naturally decreases exponentially due to constant-voltage charging, which is in line with the characteristics that the battery current acceptance rate gradually decreases with charging.
⑤ Combining the advantages of pulse charging method, FlexTM fast charging method, variable current intermittent charging method and variable voltage intermittent charging method, the variable voltage current wave intermittent positive and negative zero pulse fast charging method is developed and applied. The pulse charging circuit has two adjustment modes:
1) The amplitude of pulse current is variable, while the frequency of PWM signal is fixed;
2) The amplitude of pulse current is fixed, and the frequency of pulse width modulation signal is adjustable.
The amplitude of pulse current and the frequency of pulse width modulation signal are fixed, and the space of pulse width modulation index is adjustable. On this basis, adding the intermittent charging stop link can charge more electricity in a short time and improve the charging acceptance of the battery.
Charging time of BYD electric car: how to charge the electric car at home?
First of all, wireless charging is also called inductive charging (convenient)
Induction charger is based on the transformer principle of high-frequency AC magnetic field, which induces electric energy from the primary side of the vehicle to the secondary side of the vehicle, thus charging the battery. The biggest advantage of induction charging is safety, because there is no direct point contact between the charger and the electric vehicle, so even in bad weather, such as rain and snow, there is no danger of electric shock when charging the electric vehicle.
Second, the traditional constant voltage and constant current charging method is used to charge the electric vehicle (ordinary).
The plug of the car charger can be charged as long as it is plugged into the power socket in the parking lot or at home, so most of the charging process is completed by the customer himself. Electricity is directly taken from the low-voltage lighting circuit, and the charging power is small, and it is supplied by the standard power supply of 220V/ 16A. Typical charging time is 8~ 10h(SOC is above 95%). This charging method has no special requirements for the power grid, as long as it can meet the power supply quality required for lighting. Because charging at home is usually at night or during low battery, which is conducive to the effective use of electric energy, most power departments will give electric vehicle users some concessions, such as charging concessions during low battery.
Third: small charging station (ordinary)
Small chargers have been installed in streets, supermarkets, office buildings and parking lots. Charge with normal charging current. The electric driver can start charging as long as he stops at the designated position of the charging station and connects the wires. The charging method is coins or credit cards, and the charging power is mostly 5~ 10kW, using three-phase four-wire 380V power supply or single-phase 220V power supply. The typical charging time is: charging 1~2h, charging for 5 ~ 8h (SOC over 95%).
Fourth: fast charge (fast)
The power of the charger is very large, most of which are basically above 30kW, using a three-phase four-wire 380V power supply. The typical charging time is 10~30 minutes. This charging method has a certain relationship with the battery life, especially the ordinary battery can not be charged quickly, because receiving a large range of electricity in a short time will affect the battery overheating. The key of the fast charging station is the fast charging module outside the car, which can output 35kW or even higher power. Because the ratings of power and current are basically high, this charging method requires a higher power grid, and most of them should be used near 10kV substation or in monitoring stations and service centers. Large charging stations (machines) often use this charging method.
Fifth: Replace the battery (mechanical)
In addition to the above charging method, you can also replace the battery pack, that is, when the battery is exhausted, replace the exhausted battery pack with a fully charged battery pack. Batteries belong to repair shops or battery manufacturers, and users of electric vehicles only need to rent batteries. Users of electric vehicles park their cars in a specific area, and then use a battery changer to take out the exhausted batteries and replace them with fully charged batteries. For the replaced uncharged battery, it can be charged in the repair shop or recycled centrally. Because the battery replacement process includes mechanical replacement and battery charging, it is sometimes called mechanical & Ldquo refueling & Ldquordquo.
Sixth: mobile charging (high requirements for external conditions)
Users of electric vehicles don't need to find a charging station, stop or spend time charging. The MAC system is buried under a section of road, that is, the toll area, and there is no extra space. Both contact and inductive MAC systems can be basically realized. For the contact media access control system, a contact arch should be installed on the underbody. By contacting with the charging element embedded in the road surface, the contact arch can obtain instantaneous large current. When the electric vehicle cruises through the MAC area, its charging process is pulse charging. For induction MAC system, the contact arch on the vehicle is replaced by induction coil, and the charging element embedded in the road surface is replaced by high current winding which can generate strong magnetic field.
