Weipai, a high-end brand of Great Wall, is one of the few cars in its own brand, and its positioning is high-end SUV series. However, the road to high-end is not smooth, and bumps are inevitable. Not all the models owned by Weipai are high-selling models, such as the previous version of Weipai VV7GT. Its cross-border style is unique (at least not biased towards the outline of any luxury brand), and the market response is flat, but this has not stopped the Great Wall from continuing to improve and upgrade. This is not brand-new.

The appearance is still the standard Weipai style. At least at first glance, you can immediately recognize that this is Weipai, and it will not be any other model. Comparing the appearance of the current version of VV7GT in the following figure, it can be seen that the focus of the modification is the whole front bumper part, and the outline of the grille has not changed much. After all, this is also one of the family elements of the Weipai car. Relatively speaking, the front bumper is much easier, and the lower end of the headlight can be an invaginated frame. In fact, this design is connected with the fog lamp frame. To put it bluntly, the whole fog lamp frame is slightly tilted upward, and at the same time, the outline is expanded, forming an effect similar to that of lying silkworm at the moment. With the newly modified auxiliary air intake (with baffles specially made on both sides), the visual improvement effect is very obvious and a bit fierce.

At the same time, there is another detail that has to be mentioned. It seems that the original vertical LED fog lights will not appear on the new models, and the possibility of complete cancellation is not ruled out. Of course, this is closely related to the improvement of the light transmittance of all-laser headlights. Because the effect of the headlights has surpassed that of the old models, the urgency of fog lamps is naturally reduced. From the outside of the fog lamp frame, it vaguely feels like a hollow design. For this sports SUV, it can not only reduce the drag coefficient, but also cool the front brake disc, which is of course killing two birds with one stone.

The side is still the same. After all, it is a change, not a new overthrow and re-examination. Therefore, the outline of the whole car is the same as that of the cash, which also shows that the size parameters of the whole car can refer to the cash model.

At the same time, it is worth noting that the roof has the sign of panoramic skylight. At present, it is not clear whether it is a fixed viewing canopy or a two-stage openable version, and it must be confirmed by a real car. In any case, the Great Wall itself has realized that the configuration level is also one of the shortcomings of VV7GT, and the configuration upgrade is also the most urgent part.

The modification of the tail is not small, and of course the idea is the same. The rear bumper has been greatly modified and adjusted. The idea of separating the two sides of the rear fog lamp has not changed, but the rear scuff plate has been replaced as a whole. At the same time, the idea of double circular exhaust pipes on both sides was abandoned, and the outline of single diamond exhaust pipe was changed. The visual impact was not much worse than that of double circular exhaust pipe, and the taillight part did not change much. This is also the iconic design style of Weipai.

In terms of power, it is expected that all the models sold at present will be the same. It is really hard to imagine what brand-new powertrain the Great Wall will match. At least from the existing information, the Great Wall can only choose 2.0GTDI and 1.5GTDI, but from the positioning of the VV7GT, it is still more inclined to 2.0GTDI, which is expected to be officially unveiled at this year's Beijing Auto Show. Of course, the official Beijing Auto Show has decided to postpone it.
