Yipin Jingzhi, the representative of sesame-flavor liquor in China, has been innovating independently for half a century. 1957, liquor experts first discovered sesame flavor "factor" in Jingzhi liquor, and Jingzhi liquor industry began to explore sesame flavor liquor in 1965. By 1995, the industry standard of sesame-flavor liquor drafted by Jingzhi Liquor Industry was issued by the Ministry of Light Industry, and sesame-flavor liquor was formally established. In 2007, the national standard of sesame flavor mainly drafted by Jingzhi Liquor Industry was promulgated and implemented by AQSIQ and National Standardization Management Committee.

The "Development of Sesame-flavor Liquor" won the first prize of China Light Industry Science and Technology Progress, and the "Sesame-flavor Liquor Production Technology" won the first prize of the 10th Shandong Top Ten Invention Patents and the 12th China Patent Award. Its representative product, Jingzhi, was identified by the Ministry of Commerce and china alcoholic drinks association as the representative of sesame flavor type of China liquor, which rewrote the history of the representative of Lu liquor without flavor type and became one of the only two innovative flavor types in China liquor industry since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
