The inventor of iz innovation method is Altshuller.

Genrich S. Altshuler (also translated as Genrich Alihshuler) was born on October 15, 1926 in Tashkent, Soviet Union. Lived in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for many years. After 1990 he moved to Petrozavodsk, Karelia. He researched and established a wonderful science of creation - TRIZ.

Altshuller obtained his first patent certificate when he was 14 years old. The patented work was an underwater breathing apparatus. When he was 15 years old, he built a boat equipped with a jet engine that used carbide as fuel.

Research results

After studying a large number of patents worldwide, Altshuller relied on the results of human invention activities and proposed different invention methods, that is, inventions are based on problems analysis to find contradictions.

After studying 200,000 patents, Altshuller concluded that there were 1,500 pairs of technical contradictions that could be resolved relatively easily by applying basic principles. "You can wait 100 years for an epiphany, or you can use these principles to solve a problem in 15 minutes," he said.

What if Altshuller’s opponents knew that the fantastic science fiction novels written by H. Altov (Altshuller’s pen name) were enough to support his living expenses, and that these novels took advantage of The TRIZ principle is written down, what else can they say? Altshuller used his creative mind to write these novels.
