1. Responsible for the National Natural Science Foundation of China's major project "Exploration of Logging Methods for Complex Reservoirs", and made important breakthroughs in the research on the distribution of natural electric fields in open-hole wells and the formation mechanism of natural potential in igneous rock reservoirs. It has solved some theoretically controversial issues and has high theoretical and academic value. The project won the first prize of the Daqing Petroleum Administration's Scientific and Technological Achievement Award in 2002 and the third prize of the Heilongjiang Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement Award in 2004.
2. Invented a high-resolution natural potential logging instrument and has applied for an invention patent. The longitudinal resolution of the instrument can reach 0.3 meters. The curve is less affected by surrounding rocks, has a true amplitude, and is in good agreement with the core data. The successful development of this instrument is the first time in the world.
3. For the first time in the world, the method of using rock induced polarization relaxation time spectrum analysis technology to determine formation permeability and pore structure has been obtained. 2 invention patents have been obtained. Research shows that this method can achieve the effect of nuclear magnetic resonance logging in determining formation permeability and pore structure, and has good application prospects. It has been established as a major project of China National Petroleum Corporation, and instruments and interpretation methods are being developed. Used for well logging formation evaluation.
4. In the study of factors affecting the dielectric constant of rocks, some results have attracted the attention of experts at home and abroad, and their papers have been published in the American SPE Magazine (30871, 1996). On this basis, the issue of the applicable scope of electromagnetic wave logging was raised, which provided important theoretical and experimental basis for the development of electromagnetic wave logging technology.
5. Responsible for the establishment of the CNPC Key Laboratory Research Base for Well Logging - Petrophysical Laboratory. We have introduced 12 sets of foreign advanced experimental equipment and developed 8 sets ourselves. The advanced nature and supporting level of the equipment are the best in the country. It provides a large amount of basic experimental data for the exploration and development of Daqing Oilfield, and also provides high-quality services to other domestic oilfields, creating significant economic benefits.
6. As the first author, he wrote a book, "Physical Properties of Shady Sandstone and Its Logging Application". This book is the first monograph on rock physics experiments in China. It was published by Petroleum Industry Press in August 2004 and is very influential in China.
7. He has been engaged in research on rock physics experiments and well logging methods for many years, and has been responsible for a number of national and group company-level scientific research projects. It has obtained 21 scientific research results, including 1 provincial and ministerial award, 3 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 9 third prizes from the Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau; it has obtained 2 invention patents and is applying for 3 invention patents. and 1 utility model patent; 29 published papers, 3 of which have been published internationally.
