During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, the project "Manufacturing Technology of High-strength Bamboo-based Fiber Composites" was included in the National High-tech Research and Development Plan (863 Plan). As a major scientific and technological achievement in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, the key technologies of small-diameter bamboo manufacturing and restructuring participated in the 2009 national major energy-saving and emission-reduction exhibition, which attracted wide attention. "Manufacturing Technology of High Performance Bamboo-based Composite Materials" won the second prize of the 4th Liang Forestry Science and Technology Award 20 1 1.
