Those who have outstanding performance in other aspects can be extended to the top 30%, but detailed supporting materials must be submitted. "Excellent performance in other aspects" shall be implemented in accordance with the "Exceptionally Excellent" regulations of the National Scholarship.

In principle, only students who have passed the poverty determination can apply. There will be no make-up exams or retakes in the previous school year. Extraordinary excellence refers to:

1. Outstanding performance in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, with practical actions of being courageous, helping others, caring for others, serving the society, and self-reliant, and producing significant results in the school and the region. It will have a greater impact across the country and help establish good social trends.

2. Achieve outstanding and significant achievements in academic research, publish papers as the first author that are included in the full text of SCI, EI, ISTP, and SSCI, and publish academic monographs as the first and second authors (must be approved by experts identification).

3. Achieve outstanding results in subject competitions, and win first prize, gold medal or above in international and national professional competitions and extracurricular academic science and technology competitions.

4. Achieve remarkable achievements in innovation and invention, and obtain scientific research achievements at provincial or ministerial level or above or obtain national patents (subject to expert appraisal).

5. Non-sports major students participate in sports competitions at or above the provincial level and win the top three individual awards and the top two collective awards. High-level athletes participate in international and national sports competitions and win the top three individual awards and collective awards. For the top two, collective projects should be the main focus.

6. Achieve outstanding results in important literary and artistic competitions, participate in international and national competitions and win the top three, participate in provincial competitions and win first place, and win honors for the country. Group projects should feature the main cast.

7. Received national honorary titles such as National Three Good Students, National Outstanding Cadres, National Advanced Individuals in Social Practice, National Ten Outstanding Youths, and the Chinese Youth May 4th Medal.

In addition to the above seven aspects, if you have particularly outstanding performance at the same level in other aspects, you can also submit relevant materials as outstanding performance.
