Guarana is one of the most famous and recorded medicinal plants in Brazil. The correct name is "whatever it is", which Maues-Sateres Turks call "mysterious evolution". The name of this plant comes from its appearance in the rainforest: the fruit hangs on the huge red branches of shrubs, just like red grapes. After the shell of red bean cracked, many spaced brown chestnut seeds were exposed. When you walk in the rainforest, it's like millions of eyes attract your attention.
Using Turkish history
Guarana was first discovered by Maues-Sateres Indians and has been used as a useful food and stimulant for thousands of years. The first record of Guarana literature and its potential health benefits began with a missionary named Bedendorf. He wrote that Guarana was used by Indians to help them cope with high fever, help them complete long-distance travel, suppress appetite and overcome fatigue, stimulate brain function, help concentrate, relieve headaches and subtle pains, help the body excrete excessive water, overcome discomfort caused by high temperature, recover quickly after illness, and control appetite.
In 1893, the encyclopedia published by Saxon and Co recorded that migraine or hemiheadache: one of the best treatments for this disease is guarana or Brazil cocoa, which should be five times the grain dosage (1 grain = 64.8 mg), three times a day.
193 1 year, Ms. M. Grieve and Ms. C. F. Leyel wrote a book called Modern Herbal Medicine, which described Guarana as "an aphrodisiac, a nerve tranquilizer, a tonic and a stimulant". Tannic acid contained in it is very useful for moderate diarrhea. In Europe and America, it is mainly used for depression caused by headache, menstrual pain, mental fatigue, or physical exhaustion caused by hot weather, with mild excitement.
The Sunday Times (1987 April 12) reported that Brazilians are convinced of the efficacy of guarana tea, and it is estimated that they drink 2 million cups of guarana tea every day.
The number of modern scientific research on Guarana as a medicinal plant is increasing. For thousands of years, millions of people have used this plant every day without any signs of side effects.
Physical fitness, health, weight loss
Dr van Straten, a sleep expert, suggested that his patients should take guarana supplements while eating healthily. The routine dose is 2 capsules 500 mg, 3 times a day, 1 week; Then reduce it to twice a day for three months. Dr. van Straten's research shows that his patients find that Guarana can strengthen their physique and lose weight. Some patients who are addicted to caffeine are often easily excited and aggressive, and it is difficult to concentrate during sleep. By reducing caffeine intake and taking guarana, the symptoms disappeared within a few weeks.
Dr Netterstrom of Copenhagen National Hospital conducted two experiments. Dr Netterstrom chose Guarana because it has the functions of improving physical fitness and anti-fatigue. Netterstrom conducted a 9-week double-blind controlled experiment, and the results showed that Guarana had a positive effect on making subjects "feel" more energetic. At the same time, experiments show that some people have slight (but lateral) weight loss, and the content of fibrinogen in blood is reduced (the increase of fibrinogen level is related to stress and is considered as a special factor of heart disease). The relationship between stress and heart disease has been well documented in the literature. A year later, Netterstrom repeated the study and extended the taking time by three weeks. Six out of eight people reported a high level of health, 5/8 people had a low level of fibrinogen, and 4/8 people had an increase in high-density lipoprotein (beneficial cholesterol level). No long-term negative effects were found. Although this experiment can't prove that Guarana can reduce stress or generate energy, participants in both experiments found that physical strength increased and fibrinogen level decreased significantly (known to increase under stress), which really supported the Indian statement in the rainforest.
In an ingenious study, the Reading Science Service Center (RSSL) organized and tested the influence of Guarana on behaviors and other emotions. RSSL has perfected a series of computer-based tasks, which can measure the speed and accuracy of subjects' behavior in these tasks. Before subjects perform computer-based task programs, they should submit information about baseline behavior. During the four-day experiment, participants were given high-dose caffeine, low-dose caffeine, guarana or placebo capsules every day. The study used a blind method (participants were not told about the middle class of the sample). Before giving them capsules, measure the baseline level every day. Each participant took 2 capsules and was monitored for more than 4 hours.
The results are as follows:
Guarana leads to the fastest response time.
Guarana improves hand-eye coordination.
Guarana slightly improves the accuracy of hand-eye coordination.
Large doses of caffeine have side effects on the speed and accuracy of hand-eye coordination.
Guarana has a positive effect on the agility of participants, which is significantly higher than that of high-dose caffeine group.
Compared with the other three groups, Guarana plays a positive role in friendship and hostility, friendship and encouragement.
RSSL concludes that Guarana has a strong and lasting positive effect on improving behavior, mood and confidence. Low doses of caffeine also have some positive effects, but high doses have some negative effects on behavior and mood.
In Ethno pharmacology, (1997)Espinola et al. published a study, which showed that single dose and multiple doses of Guarana extract can enhance the physiological function of mice, enhance their physiological endurance under high pressure and enhance their memory. The researchers also found that the whole extract of Guarana seeds is more effective and effective than the same dose of ginseng extract or caffeine.
lose weight
In June, 20001year, it was reported in the journal of human nutrition and diet that taking the mixture of Paraguayan tea, Guarana and Turner grass for more than 45 days can make overweight patients lose weight. Compared with the 45-day placebo group, the placebo group lost 1 lb, and the Guarana group lost 1 1.22 lb. Guarana is included in some patented formulas for weight loss.
Heart health
Recently, Ravi M.T. Subbiah of the University of Cincinnati (U.S. patent. No.4,861594) found that guarana is good for "blood health" and can reduce the stroke caused by platelet aggregation. 199 1 An article published at the American Cardiology Conference shows that taking an aspirin every day can reduce the chances of myocardial infarction, stroke and death by 25% for people who already have hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coagulation and family history of heart disease. Guarana may have the same effect as aspirin, but it has no side effects (stomach upset
Huida Quality Guarana
Huida initially purchased and processed Guarana seeds from Brazil because it was developing Guarana in China. When we added Guarana, we found that there was an obvious odor. Therefore, we began to study it, how to remove the peculiar smell of seeds and keep its effective components.
The effective chemical constituents of Guarana are somewhat confusing. What ingredients can improve physical fitness and mood? Guarana does contain some caffeine, depending on raw materials and production technology, and it also contains theobromine and theophylline. Guarana is similar to chocolate in this respect. However, caffeine content alone cannot explain the health benefits of Guarana. For example, the caffeine content of an ordinary cup of tea is twice that of 1 guarana, and that of an ordinary cup of coffee is five times. (1993 International Journal of Biomedicine, Horton, PJ, Benbang and Steedman) According to Dr. Van Straten, it is the mixture of caffeine, theophylline, nicotinic acid and other compounds that makes this word have its unique functions.
Our product does not extract caffeine from it, but retains all the ingredients in the whole seed, which can improve the physical fitness level, enhance the thinking attention and remove the oxidation odor as described by Indians and researchers.
Guanana/Guarani —— Young and Vigorous Fruits in Amazon Basin
Guarana originated in the Amazon basin and was first planted by Indians, who regarded its seeds as "divine fruits". They used to chew Guarana seeds in hunting and fighting to gain energy. The usage record of Guarana in Europe can be traced back to 1775. It was not until 1907 that Brazil began to make drinks with guarana, which quickly became popular. After 1940, it gradually became a symbol of Brazil. Guarana is widely used in food, beverage and medicine industries because of its strong tropical regional flavor, and has a wide range of consumers.
The main feature of Guarana is that its caffeine can stimulate the nerves gradually and slowly, and the stimulation lasts for a long time, which is mild and harmless to human body, while products from other sources usually take effect quickly, but the duration is short.
