The School of Transportation attaches great importance to scientific research work, increases scientific research intensity, and specially formulates scientific research reward methods to continuously improve the level of scientific research. It has three scientific research institutions: Automotive Engineering Research Institute, Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, and Transportation and Logistics Economic Research Center. Undertaken and participated in 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation; 13 provincial scientific research projects; 8 experimental projects of the Provincial Department of Education; 14 school-level science and technology plan projects; 4 school-level education reform projects; 8 horizontal topics; and obtained 10 patents item. Published 36 teaching and research papers; 200 scientific research papers; edited or co-edited 10 textbooks; published 15 treatises (translated). These research topics and research results provide relatively sufficient educational resources for undergraduate teaching. Pay attention to academic exchanges. We have invited well-known experts and professors at home and abroad to the college for many times to give academic reports or provide guidance, and organized teachers to visit well-known domestic colleges and universities in a planned manner.
