Leaf carving patent

After printing the photo on the leaves and carefully mounting it with a photo frame, it became a unique work of art. At the agricultural high school meeting, Li Xianglong, the founder of the leaf photo, took his work to the special exhibition of agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship.

Li Xianglong, 25, graduated from the College of Agricultural Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Northwest A&F University. She has a natural love for art and won the silver prize in the National College Students' Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition.

20 14, Li Xianglong, a freshman, decided to turn his hobby into a career. When he started his business, he painted on leaves, which attracted many people's attention. Later, it was suggested that Li Xianglong draw characters, which made Li Xianglong have a brainwave and saw new business opportunities. He wants to develop a machine to print photos on leaves.

Photos of leaves, with leaves bearing good memories. Although it sounds romantic, the reality is "skinny". "Because there is a layer of wax on the surface of the leaves, the photos are generally not printed or are particularly blurred." Li Xianglong told reporters that making photos of leaves involves many problems. "Later, I checked the information, did experiments, consulted the teachers of gardening, plant protection and chemistry in the school, and treated the leaves with color retention, anti-corrosion, softening and surface characteristics, and finally succeeded." Li Xianglong said.

It is understood that leaf photos overcome the shortcomings of traditional leaf carving, such as long production cycle, low output, fragile and easy to wrinkle and fade, and single leaf shape. At the same time, Li Xianglong independently developed multi-blade photo processing equipment, and has applied for seven national patents.
