Gold content of international patents

The gold content of international patents is high. The gold content of an international patent application mainly depends on the scope and technical level of the application. If an international patent application is widely recognized and has a high technical level, then its gold content is high.

Among international patent applications, PCT patent applications have a certain amount of gold. PCT patent application refers to a way to apply for patent protection in many countries or regions according to PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) after the international patent application date. Through the PCT application, the protection period of the invention or utility model can be extended and more extensive protection can be obtained.

According to the data published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in 20021year, the number of PCT patent applications worldwide was 277,500. China ranks first in the world with 69,540 pieces, followed by the United States with 59,570 pieces, Japan with 50,260 pieces, South Korea with 20,678 pieces, and Germany 17322 pieces. It can be seen that the number of PCT patent applications in China, the United States and Japan accounts for 64.64% of the total global applications. Therefore, the gold content of international patent application has a great relationship with the technical level and innovation environment of the country or region where the applicant is located.

Generally speaking, the gold content of international patent applications is quite high, especially those with high technical level and wide protection scope.
