Patented banana stamens

The stamens of flowers are composed of anthers and filaments. After the stamens mature, there is pollen in the anthers. After pollination, the pollen falling on the stigma is stimulated by the mucus secreted by the stigma, and begins to germinate and grow pollen tubes. The pollen tube passes through the style, enters the ovary and reaches the ovule. There are two sperm in the slender pollen tube. When the pollen tube reaches the ovule, it protrudes from the micropyle. Then, the top of the pollen tube broke, and two sperm were removed, one of which fused with the egg cell to form a fertilized egg. Another sperm fuses with two polar nuclei to form fertilization polar nuclei. Calyx, corolla, stamen and style all gradually shrink and fall off (partially preserved), only ovule and ovary gradually develop, and finally fruits and seeds are formed.
