Professor Du Bingwang of Guangdong Ocean University took the lead in breeding the fast-feathering and slow-feathering lines of imperial concubine chickens with stable genetic performance and homozygous genotypes, and established a dual commercial matching line of fast-feathering and slow-feathering imperial concubine chickens for rare birds. With this matching system, male and female can be identified by observing the length of the primary and secondary wing feathers on the wings. In this way, not only the identification speed is fast, but also the survival rate of the chicks can be improved.
