As the first author and co-author, Professor Zhang published more than 40 SCI academic papers/KLOC-0. Many innovative achievements have been made in the fields of fracture mechanics, micromechanics, nanomechanics and hydrogen-induced cracking of materials, including two American patents and one national patent, two second prizes of national natural science (1987 and 2007), ASM International Fellow of the United States in 200 1 year, and Hong Kong Autumn Tea Senior Research Scholar Award in 2003. I have received five SCI cards and 1 Elsevier cards, congratulating her on being ranked first in this field in citation times 1%. He has organized and presided over three international academic conferences, including the 8th International Conference on Fracture Foundation held in China for the first time. Special guests of Mechanics of Materials, International Journal of Fracture, Engineering Fracture Mechanics and Composite Materials Science; Eight special issues were edited by technical and other journals.
Among them, four representative academic papers completed in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology have been cited by SCI for 245 times, 180 times, 147 times and 134 times respectively by February 30, 2008. Participated in writing three books. Obtained 2 US patents. He was also invited to give 32 special reports at international and domestic academic conferences. In 2002, he was employed by the Ministry of Education of China in "Action Plan for Revitalizing Education Facing 2 1 Century" and "Project for Hiring World Famous Scholars". 200 1 won ASM International Fellowship Award of the United States, 1988 won Youth Science and Technology Award of China Association for Science and Technology, and 1987 won the second prize of China National Natural Science Award (ten winners ranked third).
