Rubik's cube, also known as Rubik's cube, is a mechanical illusion toy invented by Professor ErnoRubik of Budapest Institute of Architecture in 1974. There are many ways to play Rubik's Cube, such as racing, blind twisting and single twisting. Its popularity has not declined for a long time. It is one of the most popular intellectual games, and various competitions are held every year.
Usually the Rubik's cube, in a narrow sense, refers to the third-order Rubik's cube. A third-order Rubik's cube is usually a cube made of hard and elastic plastic. The traditional game is to break the Rubik's cube and then recover it in the shortest time. The general Rubik's cube refers to all geometric shapes that can be destroyed and restored by rotation.
Development history:
1March, 970, Larry Nichols applied for the patent of "Groupable Rotating Rubik's Cube", which is a 2×2×2 Rubik's Cube, and each Rubik's Cube is fixed together by magnets. 1972 was patented in the United States, two years earlier than Professor rubik's third-order Rubik's Rubik's Cube.
RubikErno, a Hungarian professor of architecture and sculpture, was inspired by the Danube gravel and created his first Rubik's Cube to help his students understand the composition and structure of the space cube.
1974, Professor rubik invented the first Rubik's Cube (then called Rubik's Cube), and obtained the Hungarian patent number in 1975. HU 170062, but did not apply for an international patent. 1977, a toy store in Budapest sold the first Rubik's cube. Unlike Nichols' Rubik's Cube, Professor rubik's Rubik's Cube fragments are spliced together like tenons, which are not easily separated by external forces and can be made of any material.
