What obligations does the patent right need to bear?

The patentee shall perform the following obligations in accordance with the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law of People's Republic of China (PRC):

1. Payment obligation. When applying for a patent and going through other formalities with the patent administration department of the State Council, the following fees shall be paid: 1, application fee, application surcharge, publication and printing fee; 2, the application for a patent for invention substantive examination fee, review fee; 3. Patent registration fee, announcement printing fee, application maintenance fee and annual fee; 4. The fee for changing the description of the project, the fee for requesting the priority, the fee for requesting the restoration of rights, the fee for requesting the extension of time, and the fee for requesting the examination of the patent for utility model; 5. Request fee for invalidation, request fee for termination of procedure, request fee for compulsory license, fee for compulsory license use and award fee.

Second, the obligation to carry out the invention. 1. Promote inventions, utility models and designs, and promote scientific and technological progress; 2. Permit others to use, manufacture and sell their own inventions, utility models and new design technologies, so as to bring economic benefits into play as soon as possible.
