Xi 'an Jiaotong University Institute of Mechanical Electronics and Information Systems was established in 1998. There are 8 researchers in the Institute, including 1 professor, 5 associate professors and 5 doctors. Since the establishment of the Institute, * * * has trained 18 doctors and more than 1 masters. the electromechanical information institute has a variety of supporting high-speed rotor test system, fast control development platform dSPACE, digital logic test system, DSP development platform, multi-field bus measurement and control platform, electromechanical information comprehensive analysis software, etc., and has the conditions and ability to carry out teaching and scientific research on complex electromechanical systems. The Institute of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering of Xi 'an Jiaotong University was founded in 1978 as the teaching and research department of hydraulic and mechanical control. In 1994, the Ministry of Education adjusted the professional catalogue, and the original fluid transmission and control in two disciplines was changed to mechanical and electronic engineering. Adhering to the close combination of equipment body and control method in the research of fluid transmission and control, this research institute has grasped the latest development trend of mechanical and electronic systems, continuously expanded its research fields, and made achievements in the control of hydraulic servo system, the design of wheeled mobile robot, the development of embedded control system, the application of visual monitoring, and the fault diagnosis of complex electromechanical systems.
The Institute currently has 8 staff members, including 4 professors (2 doctoral supervisors), 1 associate professor, 3 lecturers, and more than 4 postgraduate students. The Institute has formed a teaching and research team composed of professionals in the fields of mechanical and electrical product design, condition monitoring, system control, etc. It undertakes the teaching tasks of undergraduate and graduate courses such as Mechanical Control Engineering, Electromechanical System Control, Modern Control Engineering and Principles of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, undertakes 2 provincial-level educational reform projects, and compiles 4 national 11th Five-Year Plan textbooks. In 25, he won the second prize of national teaching achievement. In recent years, the Institute has participated in many key projects of the "973" and "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" national science and technology support programs, research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province, more than 2 cooperative scientific research projects of enterprises, and applied for more than 1 patents. The main research directions include: fluid transmission and control system design, mobile robot design and path planning, analysis/design/monitoring of complex mechanical systems, development and application of new driving devices, modern manufacturing process control and embedded system development, intelligent machines based on vision, etc.

Research Institute is a teaching and scientific research institution developed by the Mechanical Manufacturing Technology Group founded by Gu Chongxian, a famous professor in the field of mechanical engineering in China, with 28 teachers and engineers, and more than 12 doctoral and master students.
The research team, led by Academician Lu Bingheng, is a scientific and technological innovation team of Additive Manufacturing Technology of the Ministry of Education, including 7 professors, 7 associate professors, and 18 people with doctoral degrees, including 1 academician of China Academy of Engineering, 1 distinguished professor of the Yangtze River, 5 talents of the Ministry of Education in the cross-century and the new century, and 2 winners of national excellent doctoral dissertations. Research belongs to the national key discipline of mechanical manufacturing and automation, and has established postdoctoral mobile stations. Relying on the laboratory, it has built the National Engineering Research Center of Rapid Manufacturing, the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education of Rapid Prototyping and the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Manufacturing System Engineering.
The Institute undertakes undergraduate teaching courses on "Fundamentals of Mechanical Manufacturing Technology", "Advanced Manufacturing Technology" and "Product Design and Development".
Research direction: (1) High-speed and high-precision machine tools: research on modeling and structural optimization of dynamic, static and thermal characteristics of machine tools, accuracy retention and reliability of machine tools, error feedforward and compensation technology of machine tools. (2) Rapid manufacturing technology: study new principles, new processes and new materials of rapid manufacturing, study rapid prototyping and rapid mold manufacturing systems, and study rapid product development technology integrated with information systems. (3) Bio-manufacturing technology: combining manufacturing technology with biomedicine, exploring manufacturing technology as a new method and principle for preparing organisms. (4) Micro-nano manufacturing technology: research new processes and methods in micro-nano manufacturing, and explore new methods for integrated circuit manufacturing; The relationship between flow characteristics and structural design in microstructure environment is studied, and the engineering application is carried out in water-saving devices. (5) Assembly technology of large components: Based on aircraft assembly, the key technologies and core equipment of digital flexible assembly of aircraft are studied. (6) Composite placement technology: Study the principle and key technology of in-situ photocuring placement of resin-based fiber reinforced composite components, and develop automatic in-situ photocuring placement equipment for complex composite components. The Institute pays attention to interdisciplinary and engineering practice, and has won 2 second prizes for national scientific and technological achievements and 4 first prizes at provincial and ministerial levels.
