The scientific research work of the college is mainly based on the basic and applied development research of new drugs. It has established the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of New Drug Screening to provide universities and pharmaceutical companies with public technology for new drug screening and evaluation. In the past five years, the college has undertaken national “973” program projects, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, major national science and technology projects for new drug creation, national AIDS major science and technology projects, and key breakthrough bidding projects in Guangdong and Hong Kong. , the Ministry of Education’s Major Project Cultivation Fund and other national, Ministry of Education, provincial and municipal level projects, more than 100 projects, with research funding of more than 60 million yuan.
