Melita Ben Ci. The inventor of coffee filter paper is Merita Bontz of Germany. 1908 On July 8th, the Imperial Patent Office granted this invention sample patent protection in Berlin. And established the only coffee filter paper production factory in Germany, which will still be in operation by 2022 and become a century-old brand.
